Three wheeler service in sri lanka is operated via personally owned employees. the fair might vary from ride to ride since some provide a mater facility and others offer it depending on time, day and the situation.
I got scammed yesterday at Pitakotuwa. This threewheel driver forced me to get in. He didn’t have a meter but he lied and said he did have it. He took me in a longer route and charged me 2x than pickme.

Some drivers are cunning and cheating customers. Always go on meter taxi. Some of them are very rude and in big hurry. Little amount of taxi drivers meter is there but not working. Some of them are cheating. Some are very honest.some 3wheel drivers are force us to get in there taxi.with out our will.most of the drivers are do not know the way public places. Some do not know what is right side or left side? Some of them want to go as they need even we are paying. Do not go taxis that do not have meters. They talk very friendly 1st but when you get off they will turn into very rude man ask unreasonable amount of money

most of the threewheel park guys charge too much and run a mafia against other uber or pickme drivers. some even have their meters cranked to charge more. price goes up when petrol goes up, but never comes down.
