Irresponsible bank and worst customer care service
Worst customer care service ever. I made an online payment to ubereats and ubereats took double payment from me. When i talked to ubereats, they told me even though bank had debited the amount from my bank account ,bank had not paid to uber eats. But double the amount was actually debited from my bank account. I talked to sampath bank customer care service and had the worst experience ever and apparently sampath bank is not responsible for some of the online transactions and when we paid the third party online, that third party can take money from my account without taking my permission. So the bottom line is my money in sampath bank account is not secured and sampath bank is not responsible for our online transactions. Worst bank experience ever.
Terrible Service, Kaduwela Branch and Madhavi Bandaranayake in Customer care
I had an issue with the Moneygram payments I get from abroad in Kaduwela Branch. It took nearly 2 months to get even a reasonable response from Madhavi Bandaranayake in Customer care. It just proves not only the Kaduwela branch but other officers in Sampath bank are also ineffective. So, I have taken my payments to Seylan Bank.
I applied Credit Card against Fixed Deposit on month of Jully’21 & wait till 3 months but not received my branch Ass.Mng call to card center so many times, but they didn’t care to hurry it. They always telling will send tomorrow ….tomorrow (like BHIRAVAYA’S DISEASE) buti till end of 3 months didn’t received. Better if need Credit Card best banks are HNB & Commercial).
Good customer service and fastest system as well , i am using sampath vishwa for long time ,also very secure and i haven’t faced any technical issues while making online payments, appreciate the service.
My Card has been blocked many times continuously when doing online payments and it fix after days. This time I needed to pay a very urgent payment and they blocked. Since I live in aboard I am unable to visit them or call. They could help me to unlock my money my payments. It’s like going from their own hands. I texted and ask the customer service agents I don’t know whether the understand or not. None is going to help me just replying like a robot same s*** again and again. Bad customer’s service and bad experience I never recommend this bank . Try commercial bank it’s best
service is good, but Digital banking(Web App, Mobile App) need to be more User friendly. As example User can’t transfer money for 3rd party accounts if they are not available in personal payees list. It should be added from web app.
I would rate you 100% but still I encounter queues at some occasions. other than that, the staff attends to your stuff right away, it’s super fast and you get the work done within 10 – 15 mins. Keep it up.
Superb bank, sometimes have problems working with call center
Superb bank and good and quick service. Very friendly and kind. Very helpfull officers in bank, sometimes call center guys and girls can not give correct soloution. Big problem is if ATM is broked it took very long to repair.sometimes guards are not in banks door in night. I think they are sleeping inside. If debate card is stuck at atm machine no ones around. Even if we call the help line some times it get days to repair atm machine.if your card got stucked in life emergency you will be in big problem if you card is stucked after 6.00p.m. bank all officers are very supportive. Very intelligent
one of the best banks. Although their ATMs are shitty sometimes, their banking service is very good. Online banking has made the entire process of banking very easy and trustworthy.
I’m an account holder and am satisfied with the service and customer service of the bank. the app makes it very easy to get the transfers done and that alone has made my experience with the bank a breeze.
I deposited USD in my USD account in Borella Super Branch. They converted USD into LKR without my consent. I complained & no response from Bank.

very pleased with the service, sometimes the queues are a bit of a let down but compared to other banks the customer is served best here!
