1. Introduction
In accordance with Facebook, Google, and global privacy standards, Review Sri Lanka provides users the ability to delete their personal data from our systems at any time.
If you have signed up or logged in using Google or Facebook, or created an account directly on our website, you can request complete deletion of your data as explained below.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request data deletion in one of the following ways:
Option 1 – Email Request
Send an email to: support@reviewsrilanka.com
Include the subject line: “Request for Account and Data Deletion”
Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address or social login used for your account
- Optional: a brief message confirming you wish to permanently delete your account and data
We will verify your request and delete your account and associated data within 7 business days.
Option 2 – From Your Account (if logged in)
If you’re logged in to your account on www.reviewsrilanka.com:
- Go to Your Profile → Account Settings
- Select “Delete My Account”
- Confirm the deletion request
This will permanently remove your account, reviews, and all associated information from our website.
3. What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon your deletion request, we will remove:
- Your user account and login information
- Profile details (name, email, photo, etc.)
- All reviews, ratings, and comments posted by you
- Any stored location or contact data
Please note that some non-identifiable data (like aggregated ratings or analytics) may remain for statistical purposes but will no longer be linked to your identity.
4. Facebook Data Deletion Callback URL
If you logged in using Facebook, you can also initiate deletion directly via your Facebook account by visiting:

Find Review Sri Lanka, then click “Remove App” and confirm deletion.
This will automatically trigger a data deletion request on our system.
5. Confirmation of Deletion
Once your data has been removed, you’ll receive an email confirmation stating that all associated data has been permanently deleted from our database.
